Dialybrid S.r.l. is a clinical-stage medical device company developing innovative vascular grafts for hemodialysis and other vascular applications. Its lead product, Silkothane® Arteriovenous Graft, is based on Silkothane®, a proprietary hybrid material combining silk fibroin and polyurethane. Following the successful completion of preclinical studies on the product, Dialybrid initiated a first-in-human clinical study on Silkothane® Arteriovenous Graft, marking a key milestone in the company’s development and bringing its technology closer to patients and future clinical adoption.

The company raised a €15 million series A round in the summer of 2026, led by specialist life science investor XGEN Venture, with the participation of CDP Venture Capital (Fondo Rilancio), to fund the clinical validation of Dialybrid’s Silkothane® Arteriovenous Graft as a hemodialysis vascular access, and the preclinical development of the proprietary Silkothane® material in other vascular applications.
